It helps developers build applications that edit documents using AI while keeping document execution in the browser editor. The application brings its own model, server, and UI. Server code registers tool definitions or workflow schemas with the model, and browser code validates and applies the resulting operations against the live `DocAuthEditor`. Use agentic tools for open-ended editing conversations where the model can read the document, choose tools, and continue until the request is complete. Use workflows for bounded one-shot tasks like proofreading, translation, template generation, or house-style checks. AI writes can respect Document Authoring editor modes: Apply immediately in Edit mode, create tracked changes in Review mode, and be blocked in View mode.
