# Success! You’ve installed Document Editor.

You can now securely view, edit, annotate, redact, sign, and
create PDF forms in SharePoint, OneDrive, and MS Teams.

## Step 1: Open a file in Document Editor

To activate your free trial subscription, start using the app. Go to the SharePoint library and click **Upload** to import a PDF from your computer, or select an existing PDF from the library. Click **Open** from the drop-down menu and choose **Open with PDF Editor**.

## Step 2: Edit PDF

Once you’ve opened your PDF in SharePoint, you can make use of a
wide variety of PDF editing tools to work with your document
directly in SharePoint.
