Nutrient.NET SDK 14.4.6 adds PDF/UA-1 validation and Excel templating, improves Office-to-PDF performance, and includes conversion reliability fixes.

Below are the notable updates in this release.

## PDF accessibility validation

The SDK can now validate PDF documents against the PDF/UA-1 accessibility standard and report whether they conform.

## Excel templating

The Office templater now supports Excel (`.xlsx`) templates, including row loops, image insertion, and cell typing.

## Office-to-PDF conversion

This release improves DOCX-to-PDF performance and reduces processing time and memory usage when converting spreadsheets. Office conversion also gains support for text wrapping around shapes and rendering straight-line connectors in OpenDocument files. Fixes address text-frame alignment, right-to-left line breaking, page numbering, and issues affecting tables and other content in DOCX, DOC, and ODT files.

## PDF and conversion reliability

HTML-to-PDF conversion is more stable, and the SDK no longer hangs during HTML and email-to-PDF conversion on.NET Framework and low-core-count machines. PDF loading now handles cross-reference entries with an invalid zero offset more reliably. This release also fixes TIFF merging when the destination file already exists.
