# City permit request

This process can be downloaded and imported into your Workflow Automation instance. The downloadable JSON file is at the bottom of this page. If you work for a Parks and Recreation department, you may be looking for an easier way to approve or reject park reservations. When your city has multiple parks and locations to hold events, it’s helpful to have one place for citizens to submit a request to reserve a location and time.

This process allows citizens to complete an online form to request the use of a public park for a certain date and time in order to get permit approval for their event. A PDF can be generated at the time of approval and sent via email to the requester so it can be on hand at the time of the event.
