PDF to Markdown
Convert PDFs to Markdown or plain text on your computer. Use standard conversion for text-based PDFs, and use Vision for scans, handwriting, formulas, and complex layouts.
The CLI keeps files on your computer and reports usage details, such as conversion mode and page count. It doesn’t send your file name, file path, document contents, or output.
Choose a command
Create Markdown with headings, lists, tables, and reading order.
Create plain text while preserving columns and spacing.
Search an extracted file and return relevant passages.
Sign in, check your plan, or sign out.
Standard and Vision
Standard works without an account, doesn’t use Vision pages, and is free. The CLI tries to report standard usage, but a connection problem doesn’t stop the conversion.
Vision improves extraction for scanned pages, handwriting, formulas, and complex tables. Each input page uses one Vision page from your monthly allowance. Failed conversions don’t use Vision pages, and the query command is free.
