AI Assistant extends its capabilities beyond document querying and summarization by enabling AI-powered text comparison when used in conjunction with Nutrient Web SDK.
This powerful feature leverages AI models to go beyond simple textual diffing. It analyzes the semantic meaning of changes between two document versions, providing intelligent summaries and categorizing differences (e.g. rewording, content addition, and formatting changes). This significantly accelerates document review workflows by helping users quickly understand the nature and significance of edits. This feature is domain-agnostic yet context-aware: It can adapt to specialized fields, accurately distinguishing, for example, between different legal categories, technical revisions, regulatory updates, and more.

Recommended AI models
While various large language models (LLMs) might be compatible, we specifically tested and recommend the OpenAI model gpt4o-mini, as well as gpt4.1-nano, for optimal performance with this feature.
