Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn’t allow administrators to install applications specifically for selected users or user groups. Nevertheless, you have two installation options. You can install it for your account and all users in your tenant by checking the Consent on behalf of your organization checkbox in the Microsoft permissions dialog box. Alternatively, you can install the application for your account only by unchecking the Consent on behalf of your organization checkbox.
Yes. As an individual user, you can install the app to your account directly from AppSource.
No. Unfortunately, Nutrient Document Editor cannot be restricted to specific sites. To achieve such restrictions, you’ll need to opt for the extension or web part standalone installation options, which can be downloaded here.
No. Unfortunately, Nutrient Document Editor is only available for internal users. If you want to enable external/guest users to use Document Editor, you’ll need the extension or web part standalone installation options, which can be downloaded here.
The trial version remains fully functional for a period of 14 days from the initial installation date. Once the trial expires, Document Editor will be accessible in view-only mode, and a trial watermark will be shown.
If a user in your tenant has already evaluated Nutrient Document Editor and the trial has expired, any new user from the same tenant who installs the product won’t be able to use the trial. If you need a trial extension, contact our Sales team.

At the moment, Microsoft’s file handler framework doesn’t support Nutrient Editor for SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive applications appearing on the recent files page.
If a user has MFA enabled and has successfully registered their authentication methods, Document Editor should function without any problems.
Document Editor for SharePoint Online can be accessed on mobile devices only via mobile browsers. It doesn’t work on the SharePoint mobile app.
