Test the Processor API

To evaluate the Processor API on the free plan, follow the getting started guide to create an account, get a live API key, and make your first request.

Test API keys are free and don’t consume your plan’s credits. Use them for recurring automated health checks, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and integration testing. Contact Support to enable test keys for your account.

Test keys aren’t suitable for evaluating production use cases because they have lower rate and file-size limits, produce watermarked output, and don’t support AI features.

Limitations

The following limitations apply when using a test API key:

  • All PDFs produced with a test API key will be watermarked.
  • The maximum size of requests is limited to 5MB. Similarly, the maximum size of the resulting file will be 5MB.
  • Your requests are rate limited to 10 requests per minute.
  • AI features are not available.

Apart from these limitations, test keys support the same Processor API operations as live keys.
