ActionCalls
Built-in action IDs that have default implementations. ActionCalls lists the
arguments each one takes.
The comment.* actions back the menus and the reply box of the comment panel. Each takes
a comment ID. comment.reply and comment.edit also take the text of the reply or the
new text of the comment. comment.resolve resolves an open comment and reopens a
resolved one. insert.comment opens the form for a new comment on the selection.
revision.accept and revision.reject take a tracked change’s revision ID and back the
Accept and Reject buttons of the tracked-change toolbar. Their built-in isEnabled checks
the canPerformTrackedChange editor option, if set, when given a revision ID. A custom
isEnabled replaces that check, so a denied operation can appear enabled; Core still
blocks it when the built-in handler runs. editor.isActionEnabled() passes no revision
ID, so the default check reports only whether the editor mode allows the action.
Some actions open built-in UI and others make the change it collects. insert.bookmark
opens the Bookmarks dialog, whose buttons run bookmark.add, bookmark.rename,
bookmark.remove and bookmark.go-to; for a page or text reference, insert.field and
field.change open the bookmark chooser, which runs field.add or field.set-type. Leave
out the action that opens the UI to remove its menu entry, and call the others from your
own UI. Without a name, the bookmark.* actions’ isEnabled reports whether they could
run for some bookmark.
