Use Nutrient DWS Processor API to convert PPT presentation files into PDF output without running Microsoft Office on your server. Start free with 50 monthly credits and watermarked output. Enable pay-as-you-go or choose a paid plan for watermark-free output.
Convert PPT files to PDF while preserving slides, images, charts, and layout — no Office license or local installation required.
Use REST, Postman, curl, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or HTTP to automate PPT-to-PDF conversion inside larger document processing pipelines.
PPT-to-PDF is one action in the DWS Processor API. Combine it with Word, Excel, PPTX, HTML, and image conversion in a single request.
This example will convert your uploaded PPT file to a PDF.

Platform resources:
Nutrient’s infrastructure is SOC 2 Type 2 audited and GDPR-compliant. See our privacy policy and security documentation for details on data handling.
All communication between your application and Nutrient is done via HTTPS to ensure your data is encrypted when it’s sent to us.
All payments are handled by Paddle. Nutrient DWS Processor API never has direct access to any of your payment data.
A PPT-to-PDF API converts PowerPoint PPT presentations into PDF documents with a single API call. Nutrient’s DWS Processor API converts PPT files server-side, so no Microsoft Office install is involved.
Send your PPT file to the Nutrient DWS Processor API, and it returns a PDF. You can call it via REST, Postman, curl, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or PHP. See getting started for API key setup.
Each request carries an HTTP header of the form Authorization: Bearer your_api_key_here, using either a live or a test API key. A JSON Web Token (JWT) generated from the API key can be used instead — JWTs can be scoped to specific operations and origins, time-limited, and revoked.
PPT is the legacy binary PowerPoint format and PPTX is the Open XML format that replaced it. Both convert through the same endpoint — see the PowerPoint-to-PDF API for the broader presentation conversion page, or the Office-to-PDF API for every Office format.
