Use Nutrient DWS Processor API to render PPTX presentation files as JPG images. Start free with 50 monthly credits and watermarked output. Enable pay-as-you-go or choose a paid plan for watermark-free output.
Render PPTX slide files as JPG images for thumbnails, previews, and sharing — no Office license required.
Use REST, Postman, curl, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or HTTP to automate conversion inside larger document processing pipelines.
This conversion is one action in the DWS Processor API. Combine it with other conversions, OCR, extraction, and editing in a single request.
This example will convert your uploaded PPTX file to a JPG image.

Nutrient’s infrastructure is SOC 2 Type 2 audited and GDPR-compliant. See our privacy policy and security documentation for details on data handling.
All communication between your application and Nutrient is done via HTTPS to ensure your data is encrypted when it’s sent to us.
All payments are handled by Paddle. Nutrient DWS Processor API never has direct access to any of your payment data.
A PPTX-to-JPG API renders PowerPoint PPTX slides as JPG images with a single API call. With Nutrient’s DWS Processor API, you can turn PPTX slides into JPG images without installing Microsoft Office or building your own rendering infrastructure.
Send your PPTX file to the Nutrient DWS Processor API with the output type set to image and the format set to JPG, and it returns the rendered slide. You can call it via REST, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or plain HTTP, or make your first request from the Postman collection.
By default, the first slide is rendered. Add the pages option to render a single slide, a range of slides, or the whole deck, up to 50 slides per request. Multi-slide output is returned as a ZIP archive with one JPG per slide. See the document-to-image guide for the request format.
Set either a width, a height, or a DPI value in the output options, and the API scales each slide to match while keeping its aspect ratio. Only one of the three options can be used per request, and the maximum output size is 34 million pixels.
No. Rendering runs on Nutrient’s infrastructure without any Microsoft Office dependency, so you can convert PPTX slides to JPG from any backend, serverless function, or container environment.
Yes. The same conversion action accepts PPT and PPTX input and renders JPG, PNG, WebP, or TIFF output. Use the PPT-to-JPG API for legacy files, the PPTX-to-PNG API for lossless output, or the PowerPoint-to-image API to compare every combination.
Yes. You can start for free with 50 processing credits per month and watermarked output. Then enable pay-as-you-go or choose a Processor API plan for watermark-free output.
