Nutrient .NET SDK 14.4.11 fixes macOS compatibility, document conversion, PDF tag import, image drawing, and optical character recognition (OCR) issues.

Below are the notable updates in this release.

macOS compatibility

The native libraries now target macOS 14.0, fixing an unintended requirement for macOS 26.

Office conversion

Markdown-to-PDF conversion no longer produces raster pages without extractable text. PowerPoint tables using the “No Style, No Grid” style now render without black cell borders when presentations are converted to PDF.

Word-to-PDF conversion fixes right-to-left text order and column-break layout. Word documents with a table cell spanning zero grid columns now open instead of failing with InvalidParameter.

PDF tag import

The new patch mode edits existing PDF tags without rebuilding the entire accessibility tag tree. Rebuild remains the default import mode.

In patch mode, replacing the document title preserves its translations, and reading an XMP title selects the default title rather than combining them. Clearing the title removes it from both the Info dictionary and XMP metadata.

When tagging previously untagged annotations, patch mode places their tags under valid parents and in reading order. These changes affect the accessibility tag tree, not the annotations’ visual positions on the page.

Imaging and OCR

The cross-platform .NET package fixes an exception when drawing a clipped image onto another image. This release also fixes a crash when OCR with several languages reads a word differently in each language.
