Nutrient .NET SDK 14.4.7 adds PDF sanitization and configurable media-load timeouts for HTML and email conversion, improves Office-to-PDF conversion, and includes document-processing fixes.

PDF sanitization

A new PDF sanitization API removes selected categories of data, including metadata, annotations, attachments, and scripts.

HTML and email to PDF

You can now configure a media-load timeout for HTML and email-to-PDF conversion. This bounds how long slow or unreachable external media can delay conversion.

Office-to-PDF conversion

This release improves XLSX-to-PDF speed and memory usage, and improves Word document layout handling, including footnote pagination, shape groups, and line wrapping. It also fixes several conversion issues, including crashes with certain DOC and DOCX files and incorrect text colors.

Other updates

An opt-in adaptive binarization setting for optical mark recognition (OMR) derives the black-and-white threshold from the form, helping retain marks lighter than solid black. This release also fixes PDF layer flattening and Office template conditional sections inside table cells.
