Software change request

To ensure changes to software — either an in-house system or within a software development firm — it’s critical to run requests through a series of proper checks and balances. In addition, it’s important to maintain a complete audit trail for change requests.
Of course, this same principle can be applied to any type of change request (e.g. employee change request, project change request).
